Sourcing Abundance From The Divine with Guest Candy Washington
On today’s episode of The NO Bullsh*t Manifestation Show, Kat had the pleasure of chatting with Candy Washington. Candy is a Georgetown alumna with a B.A. in Philosophy. She credits her approach to screenwriting to the invaluable insights that she gained through her experience of working with Emmy award-winning writer, producer, and actor, Lena Waithe.
She executive produced, wrote, and starred in the film, Narcissist, which is available on Amazon Prime Video and SofyTV.
Candy also enjoys partnering with like-minded brands on meaningful social media campaigns in beauty, fashion, wellness, and lifestyle.
As an on-camera talent, she played a lead role in The Salon which was produced by Kelsey Grammer and Tom Russo, and won Best Comedic Ensemble at the Indie Series Awards.
Candy’s published five books and hosts a popular iHeartRadio podcast called, 'The Soft Life: Self-Love, Manifestation, and Healthy Relationships,' which was named a “Podcast We Love” by Elizabeth Banks’ WhoHaha network of inspiring women.
Additionally, she volunteers at the LA Covenant House for at-risk youth when she’s not binging true crime podcasts in her spare time.
In today’s conversation, they discuss:
- Co-creating with the Universe
- Working on your relationship with the Divine
- Following your gut
- Being open to abundance
- The difference between self-love, self-care, and self-concept
- The secret to self-love
